Unsprung mass

All the weight of the wheel is unsprung mass.Unsprung mass will affect the suspension system, thus affecting the ability of the tire to remain on the ground. Carbon fiber wheel hubs reduce the unsprung mass by 40-50% compared with the original aluminum wheel hubs. A lighter wheel hub has less power to move, so they can absorb and recover the defects on the surface faster when they receive bumps, and the turning conditions are better. This means that the tyre will be in contact with the ground for a longer time and can produce more and more stable grip. Because this increases the control of vertical movement, the lighter wheel hub improves the turning grip, braking consistency, provides better riding comfort, and reduces the wheel hub runout, so the dynamic acceleration and braking performance are significantly improved.

Moment of inertia

In short, the meaning of moment of inertia is that it is very difficult to change the speed of rotating objects. It is largely affected by the distribution of weight, speed and mass relative to the rotating shaft (uneven weight distribution has a great impact on its moment of inertia).
